I discovered early on in my nursing career that I enjoyed working with elderly patients and their family members.

I started my nursing career working at St. Mary’s Medical in Long Beach. As a floor nurse there, I helped developed personal care plans, addressing resident’s needs and their family member’s expectations.

Realizing I could do more in this field,  I eventually studied and passed the RCFE Administrator Examination and became an Executive Director/Nurse at an array of RCFEs. I have worked for American Senior Care as their Director of Operations, overseeing twelve (12) Communities in Northern and Southern California.

My work is rewarding. I have successfully opened new RCFE communities and developed operational plans to improve struggling communities.

I’m passionate about implementing Special Care Units for persons suffering from Alzheimer’s/dementia. I am always looking for new programs and services that will improve and fulfill the lives of Residents. I’m excited about the memory stations at Arcadia Gardens and how these areas provide comfort to the residents who live in “Memory Lane,” a separate and secure area within our community.

I’m excited to be part of the Arcadia Gardens team. We offer a lot of great programs, activities and special outings that keep our residents engaged.
