Whether pursuing life-long hobbies with friends or joining fellow residents for daily activities, everyone at Arcadia Gardens Retirement Hotel gets to follow their bliss.
APRIL Activities at Arcadia Gardens 2021

New Activity –
We are adding a new craft/art class that focuses primarily in working with pastels. This is a new medium for some of our residents and we plan to explore a wide variety of subjects and themes.
Every 2nd and 4th Wednesday
Drumming Exercise Ball Class
Residents will perform drumming moves to popular music while getting a good, gentle exercise class. Loads of fun, rhythm, laughter and good times!
Times to be announced
Gentle Tai Chi Exercise
Residents perform gentle Tai-Chi movements from their chairs with instructors from California Tai-Chi. This system of exercise helps residents to lower stress, stay limber and increase mobility.
Every Monday & Wednesday 9:30 am
We will be making seasonal crafts. A fun time to be creative & visit with fellow residents and friends. The type of craft will be announcedMondays, Dates to be announced (typically the 1st & 3rd Tuesday of the month)
10:30 a.m. Game Room
We will now have a book reading on Mon., Wed., & Fri.
We choose a new book approximately every 3 weeks or so depending on the book. Fiction, Non-Fiction, Autobiographies, etc.

Stretch Class with Sheila
Residents perform gentle stretch exercises from their chairs with Sheila from Activities. Gentle range of motion and stretching exercises keep residents limber and improve blood flow.
Tuesdays, 9:30 am.
Stronger Seniors workout with Sheila & Good Ol’ Rock n’ Roll Workout
Residents participate in a Chair exercise class with Sheila – some light weightlifting, and a full body workout & stretch session. Every other Thursday is a workout where our residents’ groove to the good ‘ol sounds of Rock n’ Roll
Thursdays, 9:30 am.
Residents engage in a fun game of Ring Toss. Social and physical fun, from seated chairs in the Oval Room.

Twilight Guitar with Rick
Rick plays a variety of styles of music on guitar for residents every Friday evening in the Oval Room.
Fridays 6:30 pm
Concentraion Match Game
Residents will pick various cards to try and make a match of various photocards. Increased memory skills, and social time made fun.
Various dates 3:30 pm
Internet Surfari With Rick
Residents will explores a variety of topics with Rick from Activities during the interesting class/activity. The internet is chock-full of so many wonderful topics to investigate and learn about.
Thursdays, 3:30 p.m.
We can’t forget some of our resident’s absolute favorite activity… BINGO.
We play every day (except Saturday) at 1:30 pm. In the Game Room!
Spring Time Happy Hour
We will meet to share snacks and beverages and visiting with social distancing in place in the Dining Room for a Spring Time Happy Hour.
