Whether pursuing life-long hobbies with friends or joining fellow residents for daily activities, everyone at Arcadia Gardens Retirement Hotel gets to follow their bliss.

Every Monday & Wednesday
Gentle Tai-Chi Exercise 9:30 am
Residents perform gentle Tai-Chi movements from their chairs with instructors from California Tai-Chi. This system of exercise helps residents to lower stress, stay limber and increase mobility.

Every Thursday
Balance & Fall Prevention Exercise class with Fortanasce Physical Therapy instructor 2:15 pm
This very important class helps residents stay strong, stretched and most importantly to maintain strong balance.

Every Monday
Piano with GIL! 3:15 pm – 4:15 pm
Fantastic performances from one of our favorite performers – Gil Gundersen. Gil performs around Pasadena and the San Gabriel Valley at many eclectic cafes, & restaurants and we are so lucky to have him here with us every Monday.

Inspirational thoughts with Connie Scolinos 10:30 am
Connie facilitates a very special devotional time spent discussing the Bible, and many inspirational sources. Residents enjoy this time of reflection & the uplifting, inspirational nature of this special activity.

Every Monday
Gaming Time 10:30 am in the Oval Room
We are starting off with dominoes, as we explore different and new games. Dominoes is a fun, social game, and helps keep your brain stimulated. Come play “Mexican Train” with friends and neighbors.

Tuesdays, 3:30 pm
Canvas Creations with Rick
Residents are guided as they create wonderful works of art – still lifes, portraits, etc using various painting techniques

Fridays, 6:30 pm
Twilight Guitar with Rick
Rick plays a variety of styles of music on guitar for residents every Friday evening in the Oval Room.

Every Thursday – 2:15 pm

Happy Hour- Meet & Greet
Jeffrey & Melissa Van brother and sister duo, perform both jazz and classical Music along with Rick Stubbs from the Activities Dept. for residents as they dine during the lunch hour.

Stronger Seniors Workout with Staff
Residents participate in a Chair exercise class with Staff – some light weightlifting, and a full body workout & stretch session.

Summer Concert #5 – Eric Ekstand’s Big Band
Don’t miss this fabulous 10 – piece Big Band playing all your favorite swing standards! Eric has assembled a crack team of talented musicians that will make you want to jump up and dance! 6:30 p.m.

BUNCO with Debbie
Bunco Time is fun for all. This is a great game, time to socialize, laugh and have some fun. Residents LOVE their Bunco games.

Adventures with Doug
Join Doug for an adventure as we go armchair traveling. Each month we will travel to an exciting and interesting destination.

Back by popular demand, enjoy some great folk, traditional and world music featuring the hammer dulcimer, violin, guitar, bass vocals and percussion.

Happy Hour- Meet & Greet
A great opportunity for residents to visit and socialize with their fellow neighbors and friends. This month we will have a special Happy Hour where we focus on meeting all of our NEW Residents!

Enjoy each other’s company, dance, watch dancers or just listen to the fabulous music at the Big Dance Party with the Time Machine located in the penthouse. Refreshments will be served.
